    Sort and box donated food at the Food Bank warehouse (4010 Nelson Ave. in Concord). Meet at the church at 12:30 p.m. to form carpools. Youth 11 years old or older are welcome.

    SSP Pancake Breakfast

    This annual fundraiser supports our senior high youth to attend the Sierra Service Project mission trip to South Los Angeles this summer. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Sunday February 19th. Tickets are $5 each or $15 a family of 3 or more.

    Good Friday Journey to the Cross

    April 6 – 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m.

    Jesus invites you to Journey to the Cross with him. Interactive centers based on the traditional Stations of the Cross will be set up in the Fellowship Hall. Pilgrims on the journey will be given prayer guides to lead them through an activity at each station. Plan on spending about an hour moving through the Stations of the Cross in solidarity with Jesus on this holy day.

    All Church Retreat

    April 21-21, 2012

    We gather at the Monte Toyon Conference Center in Aptos (near Santa Cruz) Saturday, April 21, for lunch. The rest of the day is filled with various activities led by Pastor Lori, and others on the retreat committee with some relax time mid afternoon. Dinner is followed by a large group session (separate children activities), skits, campfire and line dancing for those who still have energy. Individual rooms (4 beds each) in Cary Lodge include heaters and mattresses (bring your bedding or sleeping bags) and bath facilities down the hall. Sunday, April 22, after breakfast and story time we worship and possibly more climbing activities for youth.
