SonSurf Beach Blast Vacation Bible School
July 11-15, 2011

What a great week we had at our SonSurf Beach Blast!
Songs including I Get It, I Have Hidden Your Word, and God Gave;
games involving bubbles and hula hoops;
teen dramas and Bible verse games;
magnificent seashell crafts and cuddly animals;
yummy snacks
all made for a week rich in faith and deep in adventure!
Bible stories about Jesus’ birth,
Jesus’ visit to the Temple,
Healing a Boy,
Washing His friends’ feet,
the Prodigal Son,
and the Great Commission
shared in dramas, games, crafts, and snacks!
School supplies were donated for homeless children at the Bay Area Rescue Mission.
Middle school youth took field trips to the Contra Costa Food Bank to sort food,
Futures Explored to host a party for developmentally disabled adults,
Monument Crisis Center to bag and pass-out food,
Shelter Inc. in Antioch to host a party for the kids.
One hundred and two wonderful children and 17 great teens participated in our
SonSurf adventure! Seventy fabulous adults led the activities and supported the ministry.
