Our Music Ministry is envisioned as a beautiful gift to God. The blending of voices in harmony evokes joy and peace in the hearts of worshipers.
CHANCEL CHOIR
The Chancel Choir for adults is a caring group of approximately 20 singers, led by Bunny Gruhn, Director of Music, and accompanied by Kathleen Flemming, Organist. A variety of music is offered representing different periods and genres, including classical, gospel, spiritual, Taize, chant, and global music.
Chancel Choir rehearsals are September through early June, Thursday evenings, 7:30-9:15 p.m. and Sunday mornings, 9:15-9:45 a.m. Newcomers at all levels of experience are welcome.
SPECIAL MUSIC
Our congregation is richly blessed with many talented musicians who offer their gifts through instrumental music and song. Instrumentalists accompany occasional anthems. Special music is offered during the summer months and on seasonal occasions. The children have an opportunity to share a song at times throughout the year.
